- 2 egg whites
- 1/2 c. honey
- 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
Directions

1In top of double boiler, combine egg whites and honey.

2Beat 1 minute with electric beater (hand or electric type), to combine ingredients.

3Cook over rapidly boiling water (water in bottom should not touch top of double boiler), beating constantly until soft peaks form when beater is slowly raised.

4Allow about 10 minutes for beating to get proper consistency.

5Remove from boiling water.

6Add vanilla; continue heating until frosting is thick enough to spread, about 4 minutes.

7Yields enough frosting for a 9-inch 2 layer cake.
