Frozen Punch

Ingredients

  • 6 c. sugar
  • 4 c. boiling water
  • 4 pkg. gelatin (peach)
  • 1 (6 oz.) can frozen lemonade
  • 1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice
  • 2 large (46 oz.) cans pineapple juice
  • 1 gal. water
  • 1 1/2 oz. almond extract
  • 1 liter ginger ale, chilled

    Make syrup of sugar and boiling water.

    Add gelatin to hot syrup.

    Stir.

    Cool.

    Mix in lemonade, orange juice, pineapple juice, water and almond extract.

    Freeze in 5 (1/2 gallon) milk cartons.

    Thaw for 3 hours.

    When ready to serve, add ginger ale. Punch will be slushy.
