- 1 c. butter, softened
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. finely chopped nuts
- Smucker's Simply Fruit (any flavor)
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400°. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

2Blend in extract. Combine flour and salt. Add to butter mixture and blend well.

3Shape tablespoon of dough into balls. Roll in nuts.

4Place 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten slightly.

5Indent centers.

6Fill with fruit spread. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown.

7Cool on wire racks. Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
