- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 7 eggs
- 3 c. flour (all-purpose)
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 lb. shelled pecans (1 qt.)
- 1 lb. candied cherries
- 1 lb. candied pineapple
- 1 tsp. vanilla, lemon and almond flavoring
Directions

1Chop cherries, nuts and pineapple.

2Roll in 1 cup flour.

3Save enough fruit and nuts to decorate top.

4Cream the butter and sugar.

5Sift flour and baking powder 3 times, adding beaten eggs. Mix well.

6Add nuts, fruit and flavoring and bake at 250° for 1 1/2 hours, then 30 minutes at 300°.
