  • 2 sticks oleo or butter
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 apple, peeled and cut up
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. lemon
  • 4 c. nuts, broken
