  • 2 c. pecans, halved
  • 1 c. black walnuts
  • 1 c. English walnuts
  • 1 1/2 c. red candied cherries
  • 1 1/2 c. green candied cherries
  • 1 1/2 c. natural candied pineapple
  • 1 1/2 c. green or red candied pineapple
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped dates
  • 1 1/2 c. dark raisins
  • 1 1/2 c. white raisins
  • 2 c. flour, divided
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp. allspice
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/2 c. honey
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Combine fruit and nuts and dredge in 1 cup flour; mix well. Set aside.

    Combine remaining 1 cup of flour with other dry ingredients; set aside.

    Beat eggs; gradually add sugar.

    Mix well. Add melted butter, honey and vanilla.

    Stir in flour mixture, blending well.

    Line a 10-inch tube pan or 2 smaller ones or loaf pans with wax paper.

    Grease and flour.
