  • 6 eggs
  • 3 sticks margarine
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 1/4 c. flour (regular)
  • 1 1/2 qt. pecans
  • 1 lb. candied cherries (1/2 red and 1/2 green)
  • 1 lb. pineapple

Directions

    Melt margarine at room temperature.

    Beat eggs, margarine, sugar, vanilla and lemon juice together. Mix nuts in 1/2 flour. Mix candied cherries and pineapple in the other 1/2 of flour. Then mix all ingredients together. Bake in tube pan at 250° for 2 hours.
