  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 7 eggs
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 16 oz. mixed fruit with peel
  • 20 oz. cherries
  • 9 oz. nuts
  • 1/2 c. peach brandy
  • 1 tsp. lemon flavoring
  • 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Directions

    Sift flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and baking powder 4 times.

    Roll nuts and fruit in part of flour.

    Cream butter and sugar.

    Add eggs.

    Add remaining ingredients.

    Bake 1 1/2 hours at 300° in tube pan.
