- 2 lb. dates, chopped
- 1/2 lb. candied cherries, chopped (red or green)
- 1/2 lb. candied pineapple, chopped
- 4 c. English walnuts or pecans, chopped
- 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Put dates, cherries, pineapple and nuts in bowl.

2Mix flour, soda, salt and cinnamon.

3Add to fruit.

4Cream butter and sugar; add eggs.

5Add to floured fruit mix.

6Grease a cookie sheet.

7Make into balls and mash down with fork.

8Bake at 325° for 15 minutes. Cookies should be light in color and edges brown when removed from oven.
