Ingredients

  • 1 lb. butter
  • 1 lb. dark brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. milk
  • 5 1/2 c. self-rising flour
  • 3 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 jar pineapple preserves
  • 12 slices candied pineapple (chopped)
  • 1 lb. cherries (chopped)
  • 2 lb. dates (chopped)
  • 3 qt. pecans (chopped)
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1 can Angel Flake coconut
  • 1/4 lb. green cherries (for color)

Directions

    Mix all dry ingredients together in large pan.

    Beat eggs and add to dry mix along with other ingredients.

    Mix very well by hand.

    Drop on cookie sheet by teaspoon and bake at 275° to 300° about 10 to 12 minutes.
