  • 1/4 c. oleo
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. cloves
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tsp. soda dissolved in 1 1/2 tsp. milk
  • 4 Tbsp. whiskey
  • 1 lb. nuts
  • 1 lb. cherries
  • 1 lb. pineapple
  • 1 lb. pecans

    Sift 1 cup flour over the fruit; cream butter and sugar.

    Add eggs, milk and whiskey.

    Mix in fruit and nuts.

    Drop small bits (about 1/2 teaspoon) on cookie sheet.
