Fruit Cheese Ball

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 3 oz. Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 c. apple, finely chopped
  • 1 c. mixed dried fruit, finely chopped (raisins, dates and apricots)
  • 1/3 to 1/2 c. nuts, finely chopped (walnuts, pecans or Macadamia)
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley, finely chopped

Directions

    Cream the cream cheese and nutmeg.

    Toss fruits with lemon juice.

    Stir into cheeses and chill to slightly firm.

    Shape into ball.

    Combine nuts and parsley.

    Roll ball in mixture.

    Store in refrigerator.

    Allow to soften to room temperature before serving. Serve with crackers.
