- 1 c. flour
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- fruit (sour red cherries, berries or peaches)
Directions

1Melt butter in baking dish.

2Put all other ingredients, except fruit, in the butter; but do not mix.

3Pour in fruit.

4Sprinkle with sugar (about 3/4 cup).

5Bake 5 minutes at 450°, then reduce to 350° and bake 45 more minutes.
