- 3 c. fruit (drain if using canned or frozen)
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- cinnamon, nutmeg or allspice to taste
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
Directions

1Melt 1/2 cup butter in large 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

2Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and milk; mix well.

3Pour this batter into baking dish over melted butter.

4Do not stir!

5Over the batter spoon 3 cups fruit.

6Again, do not mix!

7Sprinkle 1/2 cup sugar over fruit.

8Sprinkle spices over fruit.

9Bake in a 350° oven for 20 to 30 minutes.
