Ingredients
- 4 c. fruit (use one fruit or 2; try apple and blueberry, peaches with berries, rhubarb and strawberry)
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 3/4 c. granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 egg, beaten lightly
- 1/3 c. melted margarine or butter
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Place fruit in deep oven dish.

2Sprinkle brown sugar over fruit.

3Mix together flour, granulated sugar and baking powder. Mix lightly beaten egg into flour/sugar mixture until lumpy. Sprinkle this mixture over fruit.

4Pour melted margarine or butter over flour/sugar mixture.

5Sprinkle with cinnamon.

6Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes or until top is lightly golden and fruit tender.

7Serve with milk, cream or ice cream.

8Makes 6 servings. Try 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg with rhubarb.
