  • 3/4 stick butter or margarine
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. baking powder

    Melt butter in 8-inch square pan; mix flour, sugar and baking powder with milk.

    Pour batter over the melted butter and add 2 cups of sweetened fruit, either canned or frozen, to mixture. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes until brown.
