  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 medium can fruit cocktail (juice included)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • coconut (optional)
  • chopped nuts (optional)

Directions

    Cream sugar and eggs together. Sift and add flour, soda and salt. Add fruit cocktail and vanilla. Use 15 X 10 X 1 inch pan. Grease and flour cookie sheet. Pour batter in cookie sheet, sprinkle with coconut and nuts (optional). Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden brown. While cookie dough is still warm, drizzle with the following glaze over dough.
