  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 (9 oz.) pkg. dry mincemeat, crumbled
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Add sugar gradually to eggs, beating well.

    Stir in sifted dry ingredients, mincemeat and nuts.

    Pour into a pan about 9 x 14-inches, greased and lined with waxed paper.

    Bake in a slow oven, 300°, for 30 minutes.

    Cut while warm into narrow strips and roll in powdered sugar.

    Yields 36 bars.
