  • 1 1/2 boxes brown sugar
  • 3 sticks magarine
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 3 to 5 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 lb. candied cherries
  • 1/2 lb. candied pineapple

Directions

    Spread nuts in 2 large pans.

    Cream butter or margarine and sugar together.

    Add eggs; beat in flour and vanilla.

    Pour over nuts.

    Cut up candied fruit in small bits and pour over batter. Bake at 300° for 40 minutes.
