  • 14 Tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 2 1/3 c. flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 egg yolks, beaten with 4 to 5 Tbsp. ice water
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 1 c. orange juice
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 c. sugar
  • dash of salt
  • fresh fruits: bananas, peaches, strawberries, etc.

    Prepare pastry in food processor:

    Cut butter into flour; add pinch of salt and 3 tablespoons sugar.

    Slowly add egg yolk mixture.

    Process 15 to 20 seconds.

    Turn onto floured surface and press into a ball.

    Knead quickly until smooth.

    Chill 20 minutes.

    Roll to 1/8-inch thick and fit into pizza pan or cookie sheet.

    Bake 15 minutes at 350° or until golden.

    (Or roll out Pillsbury sugar cookie dough and put on pizza pan for sweeter crust.)
