- 2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (20 or 21 oz.) can fruit pie filling
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 eggs
Directions

1In large bowl, mix all ingredients except for pie filling. Spread half of batter in a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan that has been greased on the inside bottom.

2Top with pie filling of your choice.

3Dollop remaining batter over fruit, covering as much filling as possible.

4Swirls in batter and fruit peeking through are to be expected.

5Bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 350° or until browned.

6Serve warm.
