- 2 sticks margarine
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 3 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 can fruit pie filling (cherry, apple, lemon, blueberry and pineapple)
Directions

1Cream margarine and sugar.

2Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well.

3Add salt and vanilla.

4Gradually add flour, mix well. Batter will be stiff.

5Pour 3/4 batter in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan; spread.

6Add pie filling, spread over batter.

7Drop remaining batter by teaspoon on fruit.

8Sprinkle with sugar (optional).

9Bake at 325° for about 1 hour.

10Check after 40 minutes.

11Cool and cut into squares.
