  • 3 tablespoons firm butter
  • 2 12 cups Bisquick baking mix
  • 12 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 12 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 23 cup fruit preserves, any flavor

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

    Grease 2 cookie sheets.

    Cut butter into baking mix and oats until mixture resembles fine crumbs.

    Stir in sugar, milk and vanilla.

    Turn onto surface dusted with baking mix, roll in baking mix to coat.

    Shape into ball, knead 10 times.

    Roll into 14 inch square on surface dusted with baking mix.

    Trim irregular edges.

    Cut into sixteen 3 1/2 inch squares.

    Place 2 tsp preserves diagonally across eash square.

    Pinch remaining two corners firmly together over center of filling, transfer to cookie cheets.

    Bake 13 minutes or until golden brown.
