Fruited Pasta Salad

  • 8 ounces rotini
  • 1/2 cup fat-free honey Dijon dressing
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped and toasted
  • 12 ounces deli ham, smoked turkey or chicken, cut into 1/2-inch chunks
  • 1 can (20 ounces) pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1 large orange, peeled, cut into chunks
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 2 ribs celery, sliced

Directions

    Cook Rotini according to package directions. Drain, cover and set aside. In large bowl combine cooked pasta, deli meat, pineapple, oranges, celery and green onions. Add dressing; toss to coat. If desired, sprinkle with walnuts. To Toast Walnuts: Preheat oven to 375°. Spread nuts on cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Recipe provided by National Pasta Association.
