- 1 stick oleo
- 1 (4 oz.) can chopped mushrooms
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. parsley flakes
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 chicken, quartered
- salt, black pepper and red pepper
Directions

1Melt oleo in saucepan on low heat.

2Add next 5 ingredients and simmer for 5 minutes.

3Fry unseasoned chicken in hot deep fat for 15 minutes.

4After chicken is cooked, season each piece and place in baking dish.

5Pour butter sauce over chicken.

6Bake, uncovered, at 325° for 45 to 60 minutes.

7Halfway through baking time, add mushrooms to chicken.

8Turn and baste several times until cooked.
