  • 1 kg all purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 deep fryer with canola oil

    set your deep fryer with canola oil in it , to its boiling point

    add flour, milk, water and sugar together in a large bowl

    mix it all together with a wooden spoon til it get sticky

    sprinkle some flour on a flat surface , then use your hands to sponge up the dough

    roll it out flat on the floured surface until its an inch or two thick.

    depends how thick you want it to turn out.

    then cut into any shape but 5cm apart .

    put into deep dryer for 3mins on both side or to a nice golden brown colour.

    yes it will thicken up a bit.

    as long as your dough is not too thick it will cook through properly, if it doesn't , flatten your dough out more.

    them set aside for it too cool down.

    once warm , cut open and add butter or jam with it
