- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 c. chopped dates
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. Rice Krispies
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1/4 c. red and green cherries, chopped
- 1/4 c. nuts, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- 3 oz. shredded coconut
Directions

1Heat electric frypan to 220°. Melt butter in pan; add dates and salt. Beat eggs and sugar and add to pan. Cook until thick, stirring constantly.

2Cool, then add fruit and nuts. Stir in Rice Krispies and flavoring. Form 1 1/2-inch balls and roll in coconut or extra chopped nuts. Store in refrigerator. Will keep up to 1 month.
