Ingredients

  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 3 Tbsp. Karo syrup
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1/2 pkg. small marshmallows
  • nuts

Directions

    Cook first 5 ingredients until it forms a soft ball in cold water.

    Do not stir after first mixing.

    When ready, remove from stove and add margarine and vanilla, then add chips and marshmallows.

    Beat until they are melted and mixture thickens. Add 1 cup nuts and spread on buttered pan.

    Cut in squares.
