  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • dash of salt
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Combine first 5 ingredients; cook over medium gas flame, stirring until sugar is dissolved.

    Continue cooking without stirring until small amount forms a soft ball in cold water (234°).

    Turn off flame.

    Stir in 2 tablespoons butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla.

    Cool without stirring.

    When cool, beat until creamy.

    Stir in nuts.

    Pour in pan and cut into squares.
