  • 5 c. sugar
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 large jar marshmallow whip
  • 1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Directions

    Butter large, heavy pan well.

    Mix chocolate, butter, sugar and milk.

    Stir over medium-low heat to soft boil.

    Cut heat off. Add marshmallow, vanilla and nuts.

    Set in cold water.

    Beat until there is change in color.

    Pour into buttered Pyrex dish or jelly roll pan.

    Makes 5 pounds.
