- 1/2 tsp. salt (1/4 tsp. for low sodium diet)
- 3/4 c. butter, softened
- 2 oz. unsweetened baking chocolate, melted
- 1/4 c. cold coffee
- 1 1/2 c. rolled oats (quick-cooking)
- 1 1/2 c. finely chopped walnuts (more if desired)
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Into a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar and salt.

3Add the butter, chocolate and coffee, beating well until smooth, about 2 minutes.

4Fold in the rolled oats.
