  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 c. shortening (2 sticks oleo)
  • 1 pkg. marshmallows (small size)
  • 1/3 c. cocoa
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. pecans
  • pinch of salt

Directions

    Melt cocoa in skillet with oleo.

    Pour into bowl containing flour, sugar and eggs.

    Beat until mixed, then add chopped pecans. Pour into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan and bake in a 300° oven until done, about 45 minutes.

    Place marshmallows on top; put in oven until melted.

    When cool, frost with chocolate icing.
