Ingredients
- 1 (9-inch) baked pastry shell
- 3 (1 oz.) sq. semi-sweet or unsweetened chocolate
- 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand milk
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. hot water
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 c. (1/2 pt.) whipping cream
Directions

1In heavy saucepan over medium heat, melt chocolate with Eagle Brand milk and salt.

2Cook and stir until very thick and fudgy, 5 to 8 minutes.

3Add water; cook and stir until mixture thickens and boils.

4Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.

5Cool 15 minutes. Chill thoroughly for 20 to 30 minutes; stir.

6In large mixer bowl, beat whipping cream until stiff; fold in cooled chocolate mixture. Pour into prepared pastry shell.

7Chill 3 hours or until set. Garnish as desired.

8Refrigerate leftovers.
