  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 4 Tablespoons Margarine Or Butter
  • 3 Tablespoons Cocoa
  • 1/3 cups Milk
  • 1 dash Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla

    This is my mother-in-law's recipe that she uses to pour over chocolate cake. I use it on yellow cake as well. You could also pour it over ice cream. Yum!

    Measure all ingredients except vanilla, and melt over medium heat in a medium frying pan. Bring to a bubble for about 20 seconds, then remove from heat and add vanilla. We make holes in our cake and pour the icing over the top.
