- 2 pie crusts
- 3/4 c. oleo (1 1/2 sticks)
- 4 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 1/4 c. hot water
- 3 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 10 1/2 oz. evaporated milk
- 1 1/8 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Melt oleo.

2Add cocoa and stir until dissolved.

3Add water; stir with wire whisk.

4In separate bowl mix thoroughly the sugar, flour and salt, then add to mixture.

5Stir until smooth.

6Before filling crust, heat mixture until dark.

7Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
