Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 sq. chocolate
  • 3/4 to 1 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 c. Karo
  • chopped nuts

Directions

    Mix sugar, milk, Karo and chocolate and cook to soft ball stage (232°).

    Remove from heat and add butter.

    Blend.

    Put pan of cold water and cool until cool enough to hold hand under pan.

    Add vanilla and beat with electric beater until hard.

    Knead by hand and form into rolls.

    Roll in pecans, pressing nuts into roll. Wrap in foil; chill and slice.
