  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1/2 c. cocoa
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Bring margarine, Crisco, cocoa and water to boil.

    Combine flour, sugar, soda and cinnamon.

    Pour hot mixture over flour mixture; mix well.

    Add eggs, buttermilk and vanilla.

    Bake 30 minutes at 400° on sheath pan.
