Funeral Potatoes

Ingredients

• 9 potatoes medium sized, notice this is somewhat less than on the illustration
• 2 cups melted butter 1/2 plus tablespoons
• 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
• 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese grated
• 2 cups corn flakes crushed
• 2 cups sour cream
• 1/2 diced onion finely
