- 12 large potatoes
- 1/2 cup salted butter
- 2 bunches green onions, chopped
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- sour cream (16 ounces)
- 1 (16 ounce) package sharp cheddar cheese, grated
Directions

1Boil potatoes and let cool. Then peel and grate them. This is also a good time to salt and pepper them.

2Make the Sauce: Melt the butter

3Put chopped green onions in and cook till they are transparent.

4Add can of chicken soup.

5Add the whole thing of sour cream.

6Add the cheese 1/3 at a time and stir until it's all melted.

7Layer Potatoes half down and then the sauce then the other half down and the rest of the sauce.

8Cook at 350 for 30 minute.
