- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. cooking oil
Directions

1In mixing bowl combine eggs and milk.

2Sift together baking powder and salt.

3Add to egg mixture; beat smooth.

4If thick add milk. If too thin, add flour.

5Heat oil to 360°. Pour 1/2 cup batter into funnel or measuring cup.

6Release batter into the oil in a swirling pattern.

7Cook for 3 minutes.

8Turn and cook 1 more minute.

9Drain and sprinkle with confectioners sugar.

10Makes approximately eight 4-inch cakes.
