  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. baking powder

Directions

    Mix together well.

    Heat Crisco oil (about 1 cup) to 375°. Pour some batter into funnel holding finger over bottom.

    Let batter run out of funnel into oil making swirls.

    Fry until golden brown, turning once.

    Drain on paper towel.

    Sprinkle with 10x sugar.
