Directions

   Mix cake mix.

   Combine ingredients (except the water).

   Stir over low heat until mixture comes to a boil.

   Add water and again boil.

   Boil 1 to 2 minutes.

   Remove from heat; let cool.

   Pour cake batter into pie shell.

   Pour the lukewarm batter in gently. Sprinkle with nuts.

   Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 50 to 55 minutes.

    Best served warm.
