Ingredients

  • 2 c. quick Quaker oats
  • 2 c. shredded wheat
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 4 beaten eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 5 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 c. All-Bran
  • 1 c. oil
  • 1 qt. buttermilk
  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 5 c. flour

Directions

    Mix together oats, All-Bran, shredded wheat (4 large biscuits) and oil.

    Pour boiling water over all and let cool.

    Then add buttermilk, eggs and sugar and mix.

    Sift together salt, flour and baking soda.

    Mix all together well and store in glass gallon jar in refrigerator.

    Keeps fresh up to 3 months.
