- 1 (16 oz.) can garbanzos (chickpeas) and juice
- 1/2 c. raw cashews
- 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1/2 to 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 onion (optional, Vidalia is best), chopped
Directions

1Combine all ingredients, except onion, in blender.

2Blend until smooth.

3Pour into bowl and add chopped onion.

4Refrigerate until ready to serve on bread or crackers.
