Garlic Knots

  • 1 can Refrigerated Breadstick Dough (8 Ounce Can)
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1/4 cups Olive Oil
  • 4 Tablespoons Butter, Melted
  • 2 Tablespoons Shredded Parmesan Cheese (optional)
  • 1/2 cups Marinara Sauce, For Dipping (optional)

Directions

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

    Open the can of refrigerated breadstick dough (I use Pillsbury brand) and separate into strips. Mince the garlic and combine with the olive oil. Brush garlic and oil mixture on top of each breadstick (be generous!).

    Tie each breadstick into a knot and place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

    When knots come out of the oven, use a pastry brush to spread melted butter on top of each garlic knot. Sprinkle shredded parmesan cheese on top of garlic knots and serve with your favorite marinara sauce for dipping, if desired.
