  • 5 medium potatoes
  • 14 lb butter or 14 lb margarine
  • 1 chicken or 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon parsley, chopped
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 12 teaspoon pepper

Directions

    Dissolve bouillon cube in water in medium saucepan.

    Add butter, garlic powder; parsley, salt and pepper.

    Peel and cut the potatoes in bite-sized pieces.

    Put potatoes in butter mixture and bring to a boil.

    Simmer, uncovered, until potatoes are tender.
