Garlic Smashed Potatoes

  • 2 lbs potatoes
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 12 cup nonfat milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 scallions, thinly sliced

    Peel and cut potatoes into 1-inch pieces.

    Peel and quarter garlic cloves.

    In a large saucepan, bring potatoes, garlic and salted water to a boil.
