- 2 small onions, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 12 cup butter or 12 cup margarine
- 6 tablespoons flour
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 14-12 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Directions

1In a large pan, saute onions and garlic in butter until tender, about 2-3 minutes.

2Stir in flour until blended.

3Gradually add broth.

4Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.

5Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes.
