Garlic String Beans

Ingredients
- 1/4 c. olive oil
- 2 tsp. minced garlic
- 2 qt. string beans, cut in 2-inch pieces
- 1 tsp. thyme, dried
- 1 tsp. sea salt
- black pepper to taste
- 1 qt. water
- 4 cubes bouillon (vegetable or beef)
- squeeze of fresh lemon
Directions

1In large heavy saucepan, heat oil, garlic and beans.

2Saute over high heat to sear beans, stirring frequently so they do not burn.

3Add thyme, sea salt and pepper to taste.

4Add water to bouillon.

5Bring to boil; cover tightly.

6Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes or until tender.

7Add more water when necessary.

8Add squeeze of lemon juice and toss well.
