  • 20 Ritz crackers
  • 3/4 c. chopped pecans
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • whipped topping

Directions

    Crush crackers; add 1/2 cup sugar and the nuts.

    Mix together. Beat egg whites until stiff; add remaining 1/2 cup sugar to egg whites and vanilla.

    Fold egg mixture into crackers.

    Pour into a buttered pie pan and bake at 300° for 30 to 35 minutes.

    When cool, spread whipped topping over pie and refrigerate.
